There's a ton of work for them to do, no question.

They will almost certainly get the US goalie they got from Lethbridge in the Caden Price trade, Harrison Boetigger. He's draft eligible next year and could very well be their starting goalie.

As someone else above said, they have a boatload of draft picks to trade. I wouldn't be surprised if every single one of those 1st rounders they acquired are moved for players. Top-end 06's. Take your pick from around the league. Clarke Caswell? Miguel Marques? Carson Wetsch? Lynden Lakovic? If they traded for Diego Buttazzoni out of Portland, could they change his mind about going to school next year? Terik Parascak? Berkly Catton if he doesn't make Seattle? Although Spokane could still be pretty good next year.

While Stuncl is a great player, is it worth it using him as an overage Euro next season? Or is it better to get a top 20-year-old and draft a top Euro in the import draft? Since they're hosting, they'll be able to get two very good Euro's in the draft.

I'm very curious to see what Bruce does, because there he has a ton of holes to fill on this roster.

I am going to be watching the process as a fan. It will be a monumental build.
Will Joe Iginla become a Rocket even though 17s are ‘untradeable’?

Is he worth trading for though? Like would you rather have him or a player like Caswell?

Also, who is Bruce eyeing to coach this team? No chance Derrick Martin is the head coach next year. He’ll bring in some big names for one season.

Do the Rockets own their own 2025 Bantam draft pick?
If so, that could be a juicy trade chip considering their slide down the standings.

Yes they do. If it ends up being the 1st overall pick there's no chance they trade it. Maddox Schultz can play 34 games next season and would be a heck of a get for them.

If it ends up being 3rd/4th/5th overall? That's a different discussion.

That would be an interesting twist. Would Maddox Schultz move the needle as a 15 much like Dupont has? If you are a Rockets GM would you trade that asset for known commodities?
Do the Blazers regret not having Dupont?
Do the Hurricanes regret not having Connor Bedard?
Do the Oil Kings regret not having Daxon Rudolph?
I think most GMs move that asset for a championship run. At least that’s what history shows us.

If I'm Kelowna, the first players I go after are Caswell, Marques, Lakovic and Parascak because think all those respective teams would be willing to deal for futures on those players next year. Potentially Wetsch as well depending on how the Hitmen start next year.

I also wonder if Kelowna might not make many moves over the summer and waiting until early in the season so that any dust on NCAA moves for 06s and 05s might settle because there should be some pretty good 05s available if they don't leave for the NCAA.
