The Fox studio show is hilarious !! I watch it just to see Henry and Zlatan go out of their way to contradict everything Lalas has to say about soccer lol.

Yeah, I know, but it's not impossible. Bosnia would have to win 6-0 against Qatar, and Canada would have to lose like 5-0 against Switzerland.

That's why I called the situation "a sick twist of fate."

If we lose 1-0 to Switzerland our goal differential is +5.

Bosnia would tie us in that case with a win by 5.

They do need at least 6 goals though to pass us in total goals as we more than likely have the fair play tiebreaker locked up.

So basically we get second as long as Bosnia wins by fewer than 5 goals or scores fewer than 6 goals.

It doesn't take a lopsided loss on our part to lose this, but it does require Bosnia to basically duplicate our performance from yesterday.

So still very unlikely, but not quite as unlikely as your example.

It's both lolol. Lalas for sure is a tool though. He started off on day one saying he would pick Haaland before Zlatan if he had to start a team lol. That's all Ibra needed.
