Thank you Elon!
No goalie, 6th best odds already to win the cup..but muh they're aging and worn down lmao
EF says he feels like Tampa is the landing spot for carlson. FYI
why woud toronto trade knies for futures they traded there picks the next 2 drafts. my guess is the only way they do it is something like. #4 rinzel or Lev and TT for knies. they are not taking 2027 firsts. IE they just traded for the top d that was going to be a UFA and paid him a ton. Any trade that makes them substantially worse next year I just dont see. unless its just a crazy returnKnies and Robertson seem like the best bet at this point, as far as acquisitions go, simply because they have the least power to refuse the trade and Chicago is not an appealing destination right now.
Robertson could hypothetically refuse to sign and wait for an offer sheet, but that sheet would have to come from a team he'd agree to sign for, and it would have to be something the Blackhawks wouldn't match... assuming they'd even want to match for a guy who so openly wanted nothing to do with them in that scenario.
Knies is an even better bet because he has no trade protection and a signed contract.

Byram-Crevier
Vlasic-Levshunov
Kaiser-Rinzel
Korchinski/EDM
Somehow draft Stenberg and get creative to get Byram with futures.
Byram would be our #1 at this point as sad as that is. I was just matching a defensively responsible player for him to play with until maybe Levshunov or Rinzel figure out their own game.Byran-Crevier would be one of the worst top pairs in the NHL, why would we spend for that?
I need to step away from HF until Friday. I'm guessing that doesn't count.Next time someone in here tells another poster they need to step away from HF for awhile is getting a warning.
There is so much gold to harvest in the meantime. That is all I am here for.I need to step away from HF until Friday. I'm guessing that doesn't count.
Might as well just sign Tuch and keep the picks that teams a bottom 10 team anyway.Assuming Stenberg isn't available to be drafted by Hawks at #4 so they go Malhotra or Reid
- Trade Soderblom for future considerations to any team
- Trade Teravainen to Islanders for Casey Cizikas
- Offer Sheet Dorofeyev (5 x $9M, Comp is 2027 1st, 2027 2nd and 2027 3rd)
- Sign Korchinski, Del Mastro and Commesso to 2 x $1.2M deals
- Sign Bedard to 8 x $15M

Commesso
Cizikas while no longer player he once was can still win faceoffs, kill penalties, etc making him ideal for #4 C spot for a year (Both he and Teravainen contracts expire next offseason)
Then bet on them to win with Stuart skinner as their starter if you are that confident in them lmaoNo goalie, 6th best odds already to win the cup..but muh they're aging and worn down lmao

already claiming the roster moves are finished as as they sit on 3 1st in 2027, heaps of cap and the best prospect pipeline in the leagueSo no adding of top 6 winger and we just took and already flawed D group and made them worse defensively and weakened RD all while having nothing in pipeline coming giving away the #4 pick
Davidson plan looking worse than Yzerplan
Cant put a team worth a damn together at this point
Here is the 2026-27 abomination (Assuming Bedard signs extension)

Worse D and still a mess upfront with a bunch of expensive dead weight to drag everyone down

they were trying to move him at last year's draft, and at this year's trade deadlineI think that Korchinski is going to be traded now.
Kaiser can shift to the right side, I think Korchenski stays for nowKorchinski good as gone, personally not a fan so whatever
With a right side spot on D open, we are gonna be looking for a bruiser, I expect a massive push for Trouba
Most of us acknowledged the D both needed to be tougher and more of a push offensively next year. That was either gonna come internally or with two separate moves. The first domino has fallen to improve this D.
