Becher isn't eligible anymore. 2004 born = 2024 was his last eligible World Junior. He's 20 now, World Junior is a u20 tournament. 2005s and younger are eligible for the 2025 World Junior (it starts in the 2024 calendar year, ends in 2025)

Kiiskinen is hurt but his longer term return time still should have him back with a couple weeks to spare.
In a normal year, I think Finnie would have a really good shot at making Canada. He's going to be in tough though because this should be their most stacked roster in close to a decade. WHL broadcasts talking about him making a push makes me think he's at ;east on Canadas radar right now. He would be a perfect 4th liner for them. Barkey was one of the last cuts last season, but I fail to see how Finnie shouldn't at least be given a chance to make it over a guy like him in the bottom 6 at camp

No reason for ASP be there, he should be representing national team . Don't believe Kiiskinen and Plante should be there also

No Bicker. Injured? 18 gp, his team has played 23. If he was healthy he would be on team, what a shame. Bicker played a great tournament last year. Germany scored 9 goals then and Bicker was involved in 7 or 8 of them, 4 points and rest of them happened thanks to his brilliant net front presence. What a bummer, i was looking forward to see it again.
Now where to get my hands on a jersey so I can wear it to the games this winterc

Looking forward to watching the USA team and ASP for Sweden.
I think it is weird that NDN played for Sweden at the U18s, Hlinka, WJAC, and is having a pretty good season in the SHL and he did not get a spot on the WJC team.

The most interesting part is he's averaging almost 5 shots per game
