Since we are about a month ago... The Athletic dropped their Roster Predictions today

USA: Augustine, Plante
Sweden: ASP
Finland: Kiiskinen

I wouldn't be surprised if NDN makes Sweden

Also, I'm very surprised they don't have Becher on Czechia... I know he's been injured this year in GR but he put up 10 points in 7 Games for them in last year's tourney and he's still eligible.

Also, they didn't predict Germany roster but I fully expect Kevin Bicker to be on theirs.
Becher isn't eligible anymore. 2004 born = 2024 was his last eligible World Junior. He's 20 now, World Junior is a u20 tournament. 2005s and younger are eligible for the 2025 World Junior (it starts in the 2024 calendar year, ends in 2025)

Isnt kiiskinen hurt ??? I want finnie to somehow be on team canada
Kiiskinen is hurt but his longer term return time still should have him back with a couple weeks to spare.

In a normal year, I think Finnie would have a really good shot at making Canada. He's going to be in tough though because this should be their most stacked roster in close to a decade. WHL broadcasts talking about him making a push makes me think he's at ;east on Canadas radar right now. He would be a perfect 4th liner for them. Barkey was one of the last cuts last season, but I fail to see how Finnie shouldn't at least be given a chance to make it over a guy like him in the bottom 6 at camp

No reason for ASP be there, he should be representing national team . Don't believe Kiiskinen and Plante should be there also

ASP in and wouldn't be surprised if he's the captain... sadly no NDN

So we are going to likely see 4... Augustine, ASP, Kiiskinen & Bicker,

MBN is actually playing in the lower tier WJC to try and get Norway into next year's
