Who needs Zeev Buium when you have "undersized" dmen like Andrae in the AHL and York and Drysdale contributing nearly zero offense in the NHL?

I don’t know if Buium will be a Norris guy or anything. But it’s one of the biggest gut punches I’ve ever had on draft night. For a checking forward. I wanted to watch that career up close.

The Capitals got the pick they used to draft Hutson straight up for a fourth liner at the draft. Danny would never. In fact, I wager that the Flyers would be Buffalo 10 times out of 10 in this scenario.
I don't believe in the WJC small sample size, but since this got thrown out in the early going as a "thing"...

Just to remind you guys how this works: in the next year or two, or whenever they quit on Drysdale, the Flyers will try to course correct and select a Bob Murray approved smol skill defenseman to make up for their past mistake, while selecting a total dud because they are catastrophically B-A-D at this. Then they’ll draft for fit afterwards. We are stuck in a closed loop.
