I can't wait to get the final point tally post-tournament for Luchanko v. Buium.

Heck, since we're doing points total forward/defenseman comparisons, I hope we also get a Perreault/Bonk comparison.

“They don’t need top 5 picks. They can find elite talent elsewhere. That’s the plan.”

*Flyers shit their pants directly passing up elite talent outside the top 5 every year*

They should make him the coach. He knows every button to press. Tell me these eyes can’t see every possible future at the same time.

EVERYONE involved in passing on Buium for Luchanko and trading the 32 pick to Edmonton instead of taking Hutson should be fired immediately.

Remember: they drafted two total plugs at 51 and 59 too, while Hutson went 43. They didn’t even have 59 — they traded for it.

Guarantee he was barely even on their board. They thought Buium was too small and a bad fit.

Leonard has missed like 4 back door taping this tourney.

He’s a good player, but that’s our franchise cornerstone if Michkov didn’t fall.

Let's see in three years.

Benson in his 2nd season, 34g 6-6 12 (ES), not exactly tearing up the league.
And he's a better version of Perreault.

Neither Perreault or Buium are sure things to be top 6/1st pair players.

They are both in exceptional situations in college, Denver inflates scoring (see Rizzo, Brink, Devine), and Perreault is on a line with Leonard and Hagens.
