It started off embarrassing for Canada with the roster selection & properly ended embarrassing. So the people involved with the process got the result they deserved.

If Hockey Canada could manage self reflection, this would have been a good learning experience over these past two years.
Sometimes they're good enough to overcome hockey guy brain. This team clearly was not.

Yes the team was not well coached.... yes the players did not perform up to expectations.....Yes they were not disciplined throughout BUT the refs royally f*** them in this game.... Looked like they wanted to eliminate the competition.....sad really... you expect that sh** in Europe from European refs.... hope the US gets the same treatment from a CDN ref..... disgusting performance by the refs

As usual, Hockey Guys refuse to make obvious choices because doing so would reveal that their jobs are easy and require absolutely no specialized skills.

I’m going to be glass half full for a moment. Bonk and Luchanko finished tied for 2nd on Canada in goals, and Bonk was 3rd in points. Not bad!
Literally every player was somewhat underwhelming.... not bad but not good.....Rather have Perrault, Ritchie or Buium.....Bonk was decent and probably will be a decent player.... Jett was good defensively but showed no skill at all besides his decent speed... I don't know how y teach skill but heh what do i know lol
Goes back to our management.... which has done jack shit.....Love Danny and Jonesy as players but so far besides having the gift of Michkov have done nothing good from a player perspective....at least yet
Hockey Canada opted to go the same route as Lombardi for 2016 world cup.

It’s tough on the Canadian kids to get pilloried when it’s not their fault such a poor team got selected. But good call by the haters who hated the selection from the beginning. They were proved 100% correct.
