I really feel Hockey Canada has no vision for teams anymore.

use to be sure fire, a team that was big and physical with talent. By no means did it always work but the teams lately seem caught in the middle. Not overly big and physical, not overly fast but decent. Talented but leave better at home over their cookie cutter 3rd and 4 line types

Good, he deserves to be benched. He's not using his size. And I f***ing hate seeing Cowan and Ritchie trying to dangle the whole team solo. The only line I liked seeing on the ice was Pinelli Mckenna and Catton, but then Catton took too many dumb penalties and killed any momentum they could get. Yager was alright too, Price was good again, Molendyk was fine, but really everyone else was just munching minutes and doing f*** all

The 2nd line was definitely the best line, but Catton was weirdly undisciplined and Yager couldn't shoot straight.

They're getting nothing from the bottom 6. Luchanko had a nice SHG, but is nowhere 5 on 5. Ditto Beaudoin, Gauthier, Cataford, Martone, etc.

Top line spent most of the game circling the perimeter.

I’ve seen lesser talented Canada teams dominate the tournament because they had an identity. That Brent Sutter team with Steve Downie as captain. The talent wasn’t anything special, but they all bought in and worked their asses off.

I’m not entirely sure what the identity of this team is.

Shoot the puck on the shin pads and try fancy dumb moves is the identity.

Leafs fans on full conspiracy mode that people are shitting on Cowan because he’s a Leafs prospect. Shut up you bums you’ve been hyping him as the next big thing for a while and here he is now can’t even get it done against Latvia.

Cameron looks like a clown
I’ve known Dave Cameron for most of my life. He’s as nice of a guy as you’d ever want to meet, and a class individual. When my old man was recovering from his stroke, Dave had heard about it (he’d been coaching away and came home for the summer), his second day back, he came by the house to visit him and wish him well, and spent the afternoon visiting.

He’s a No BS, straight shooter, who has never forgotten where he came from or what his roots are. He’s about the furthest thing from “a clown” as you’ll ever meet.
