I know but as of today, Van Dijk is free agent and Konaté is still unsigned beyond 2026. So who knows what FSG/Edwards are heading for the summer.
Oh yeah, I mean if Virgil walks I’d certainly hope (at the minimum) LFC are paying that Huijsen release clause as well. Huijsen has everything but that recovery pace on the turn; but he’s also like 6’5” so it stands to reason that he might not be the roadrunner out there. I mean I’d rather have Huijsen, that like (for example) Van Den Ven who can run but can’t actually defend.

—Hearing that there are reports out there that Araujo’s new contract has a release clause this Summer for… 65 million. Sounds as though he wants to keep his options open.
—Also hearing that Gavi could be renewed next.

Leverkusen should just sign Duran if they are selling Boniface

Speaking of Villa, they are trying to straight loan Disasi from Chelsea because they missed on Loic Bade

—Fati is apparently staying at Barca per Flick’s comments. That likely kills any Rashford talk. Not sure where Fati’s head is at considering his playing time.
—Saw some De Jong to United talk again today. Looked like lazy journalism to me, but I didn’t delve into the article.

Can you explain “missed out on Bade”. Is he going somewhere else?

Not necessarily, if Eric Garcia moves, that will open funds for Rashford is what I read in reports. Not sure how true that is since I don't know Barca's finances.

2 games into the U20s and European clubs are circling around.

Acuna linked to Bologna and Villarreal has opened talks for Subiabre. Can’t see either of them going to those teams.

Apparently Liverpool, Atalanta and Bayern have made offers for Cherki but all rejected by Lyon because too low.

Brighton is shopping Ferguson. Real shame, he burst on to the scene and looked amazing but has been hampered by injuries over the past 18 months. Sounds like a couple of BuLi and Prem teams are keen.

One good performance from him and then Man United will spend 60M on him after they sell Garnacho

Imagine watching guys like Nwaneri and MLS getting relied on as integral players in the first team (let alone Saka, ESR, and others in recent years) and deciding that Man United is a better path for your career. Good luck to him, but it makes no sense to me.

I mean United are a lot of things but they do bring young players up. Guys like Amad, Mainoo, Garnacho all have snagged spots in the last couple years and then you can look at guys like Collyer who were given a chance.

I guess you haven't paid any attention to INEOS rebuilding process? They're going for young players to replace aging ones. Also, 16 year old Godwill Kukonki has already been in hte squad as an unused sub.

Saliba and Gabriel are untouchable for the next ten years or so while he can easily burst into that Man United team very soon. It makes sense.
