@Evilo whata the scouting report on Mikhayil Faye? He’s had an interesting path in Europe so far, beginning with KUSTOSIJA in Croatia of all places to Barca. I remember him being highly regarded but has seemed to bounce around a bit

This is not nothing. Liverpool are definitely looking at a LB for next summer. Hato would be a great fit due to his versatility as dual role of LB/CB.

I did not realize that Huijsen is considered by that many big club. He would be the perfect long term replacement to VVD. I hoped LFC went for him last summer.

Just isn’t a need, if he can come at a reasonable price sure. This is the epl though nothing reasonable about buying players from there.

I think we are going to have a problem recruiting there because no one is going to want to be stuck behind VVD and Konate. Huijsen would probably start for Chelsea day one and it’s not like we’d offer a better financial package.

I know but as of today, Van Dijk is free agent and Konaté is still unsigned beyond 2026. So who knows what FSG/Edwards are heading for the summer.
