Need to do a slight correction here - LFC have literally not offered him anything yet. Salah said he’d sign 1yr only to demonstrate that he wants to stay, but LFC has made zero offers

Obviously this is still disrespectful, but FSG is probably going to Mookie Betts this, and Salah probably plays for like Man City next season. Salah is not going to go Saudi. Hes going to go to a big team and wouldn’t be shocking if he stayed in Prem.
He's going to Arsenal to replace Martinelli when we miss out on Williams to Barca.
We could use a Saka backup if Liverpool doesn't want to offer him a contract. Idk if he's any good on the left.

Only posting these because it's fun to see how odd MLS transfers are compared to the rest of the world.

- San Diego FC (Stars next year) have traded for Tomas Angel (Juan Pablo's son), sent a 2nd round draft pick and $200k in GAM to LAFC
- Philadelphia Union have traded every draft pick for the next 3 drafts to the Colorado Rapids for $350K+ in GAM
- (not odd, but MLS related)Bournemouth have signed Matai Akinmboni from DC United for $2.5m + sell on.

A lot of rumours of Arsenal going after Jonathan David, with some other clubs also wanting him.

Arsenal also supposedly looking at Joao Pedro as well.

Martin Baturina is beling linked to PSG, move from Dinamo for 25m.

I'd prefer a place like BVB or Leipzig, And Bundesliga. I just think it's the best place for player development.

Baturina has world class potential. Whether he reaches it, we'll see. But looking good so far.

I still don't have a concrete opinion but today he played another good match. I haven't yet understood what the best position for him on the pitch would be, given that he can play more than one role. In the last days of the summer transfer market he received an offer from Fiorentina for 22/23M which was not accepted by Dinamo. I believe that, as of today, he can be sold for more than 25M.

He's actually been struggling the last month or so - including yesterday vs Celtic.
He's playing through some nagging injury, so understandable - but even so, he's been underwhelming for the last while (since the goal and assist game in the NT vs Poland actually).
Lost pretty much every ball and every duel he was a part of yesterday.

I'm not sure about 25m, players from Dinamo don't go for stupid amounts - even the ones who were obviously world class talents and already established players, like Olmo and Gvardiol.

Baturina is a world class talent. No doubt IMO. He's also one of these "hard to exactly place" players in an existing system - like maybe Brahim Diaz. He's not exactly a midfielder, and he's not exactly a forward. An advanced midfielder, etc. - but that can be a problem to work into an existing system unless he's Jude or something. ANd he's not.

So, while I was 100% sure Olmo and Gvardiol were gonna be top top players... I think Baturina has the hardest road to get there, and he really NEEDS to get to a decent club in a top league - but one where he will play.
I'm not sure PSG is the answer there. BVB, Leipzig, even Eintracht Frankfurt and clubs like that... Avoid the EPL, avoid La Liga (though Luka Sucic had established himself in Sociedad's starting 11 quickly, for example).

Do you think Baturina can play in the 8 spot in PSG’s 4-3-3? Every time I’ve watched hom
He seems play as a 10 for Dinamo. Is that his best position going forward or is he capable in a more b2b / no 8 role in a 3 man mid?

[Cesar Luis Merlo] Manchester United is in advanced negotiations to sign Cerro Porteno's 17-year-old left back Diego Leon. The transfer figure is agreed at $4M and several aspects are being discussed, including what % of the economic rights the Paraguayan club will keep.
