They're both moving to a toxic environment on a team that is consistently underachieving.
He was out for months with a knee injury. I don’t think it’s a good move on his part either but a bit of hyperbole to say career ruining.
Couple of weird things here. Amorim is trying to re-create what he was doing at Sporting. If you squint you can see it but the personnel isn’t really there.

In theory Yoro is going to to the Diomande stuff, Licha will do the Inacio stuff, Ugarte will do the Ugarte stuff, etc.

The issue is while it looks sensible on paper these players are still trying to find comfort in those roles and it hasn’t happened yet.

The interesting story to follow is going to be if United hit the eject button on Amorim or not because that (while being an atrocious idea) is certainly in the realm of possibly

Another factor here is that these are still not Amorim’s players. All he’s signed are Heaven and Dorgu. Now while those players could be Sporting level, are we sure they are Utd level? Hard to say.

Hasn't looked close to his level though. And lose almost every week.
I mean when you're doing a rebuild and implementing a new system with a huge number of player not fitting to the system (not referring to Yoro), it's to be expected. Yoro's definitely learning about playing the in Premier League the hard way but the talent is there for everyone to see.

Well the plan is clearly to get rid players who've made it toxic and replace them.

Desastrous choice.
Yoro and him ruining their career for the sake of moving.

I get Florian is high tier but he's gotten so many transfers wrong last summer, can we trust this bloke?

Your entire organisation is toxic 😂😂😂. It starts at the owners. Toxic owners hire toxic people that get toxic players. It's a cycle.

I do not like Pletti, but he is still pretty good for Bayern, and the language is pretty definitive here.

That being said I think you are right that he’s not exactly Ornstein

You do know that the people have changed there, in both ownership and sporting leadership? The Glazers aren't in charge of the sporting decisions but the likes of Omar Berrada are. Or do you find that Berrada got City "toxic" players in all the year he spent there?

Fabrizio is saying that Tel is down to ManU and Arsenal but no update from there. I trust Pletti more than 90% of the other rubbish but his sources clearly are not close to the level of Ornstein or Romano.

He does know stuff in Germany better though.

Also, a Bayern fan chimed in in the Tel thread at RedCafe:

Tel isn't a centre forward.
He isn't a real winger either but he likes to cut inside from the left side and scored some nice goals this way.
The role of the "left 10" in your system would suit him i think.

It's funny you're defending a club that has been as shambolic as 1878 Newton Health. More power to you bruv.

If I was a United fan, I wouldn't trust anything from your club until I see results. Too much I have heard that this "new regime" is the next chosen one to bring them back to the promise land...15 years ago...

Yeah I mean, Ornstein is #1 because he waits for certainty. Romano doesn't wait for certainty but he gets paid by clubs and agents to put whatever narrative out is wanted so there is a some reality there but there is also a ton of FUD to distil. No one else (unless there is someone really specifically close to the team) is worth paying attention to

I'm not defending anything the Glazers have done. It just seems you still think they run the sporting side and have completely missed out on what happened last summer in the front office.

15 years ago? SAF was still around and winning titles...

I get it that you dislike Romano, but he still has like a 95%+ accuracy rate regardless of if he's a pawn.

It doesnt matter IMHO, they're still owners and this new bloke doesn't seem any better. Again, toxic people would only sell to a toxic person. Remember that bloke who left because he wanted to spend more time searching for a manager within England and the owner was like, lol no we're hiring Ruben as fast possible? I remember.

It's fine that he is a pawn, but I would also rather get 1 tweet about a transfer from Ornstein, than like 25 tweets from Romano, 20 of which say the same thing. Maybe that's just me.

Berrada made the choice, not Sir Jim. And knowing now that Ashworth's preference was Southgate (!), I don't mind.

We're all just pawns in game of life.

If that's true, Florian should lose even more credibility. Saying "Tel chose United" is a very poor choice of words if he rejected them.
No, it seems United and Bayern couldn't come to a conclusion in their negotiations. Or did you not understand "talks off part"?

Seems Bayer were asking too much for United's liking:

He may well have chosen them, but the finances between the clubs were probably a bigger obstacle. Bayern was wanting a buy or loan with buy obligation and had asked $60M from Spurs--I doubt Man U were ponying that up.

Sounds like a Man United puppet piece with tweets like that. Not surprised that you'd be suckered into a biased stance. like that.

Fabrice Hawkins is supposedly a good French source. That's his wording.
A French source talking about a transfer between an English and German club. It cheques out.
