A couple of days old but...

Yes, quite funny as it’s not going to happen. We’re not even on the list of interested clubs per Ornstein.

The discussion is about a loan deal and Antony seems to have turned down the Greek league and would prefer Spain (Betis?).

He can prefer Betis, but if he goes to Betis then United will be paying a huge chunk of his salary.

L'equipe report that Juventus is focusing on Araujo and won't bring in Kolo Muani. Supposedly Spurs have now offered a loan with an option to buy.

Personally I'm not entirely convinced by him, but as long as there's no obligation to buy him, it's cool.

(Romano) Arsenal now has to buy a player in winter to replace Jesus, who looks like his season could be done with an ACL injury. I very much dislike the sound of that, it seems we weren't going to do anything unless Gabriel's injury was severe lol.

Romano making it sound like it is close to done with Zubi's camp and Arsenal will trigger his release clause in the summer. Huge loss for Team Savant.

Only a huge loss if they (still) don’t have a Plan B
Is it even a huge loss in that case, though? Is Gravenberch not doing everything they would've wanted from Zubimendi? Midfield seems to be the part of the pitch that Liverpool are most set, only needing depth options (which Zubimendi wouldn't be, and I don't think will be at Arsenal if he goes there).

Who needs center forwards when you can buy more holding mids and center backs to play at full back. Let's really embrace the set piece thing a buy a Jan Koller type and kill two birds with one stone.

My thoughts exactly as well. Gravenberch has been as good as anybody in the role Slot has put him in.

Set pieces might give you fluke trophies like it did for Mourinho, but it isn't a viable strategy for long-term success. FTR, the bloke we were going to buy, Sesko, I don't think would have made a huge difference this season.

There have been a lot of rumours about Partey leaving (Merino replaces him more likely) and Zubimendi probably take his spot in the starting XI or at least replace Jorginho who has also been severely rumoured to leave.

It’s not, but the Arsenal fans can’t think that it is if it makes them feel warm and fuzzy. Yes because of Gravenberch; but no one saw Gravenberch going nuclear either.

Now LFC still need to get a midfielder in (arguably even more so now because Slot thinks Endo is a centerback) because there is nothing behind Gravenberch and his legs are going to fall off, but they probably are not looking Zubimendi class at this point. Some people think we might buy a CAM and put Szoboszlai in the pivot. Szoboszlai is very strong there. But it will look alien to people that only watch him for Hungary and RBL, (and the video game players), so people will find a way to complain

Manchester United is the Barca of the EPL.
Oh far from that bad. But it all comes down to the Glazers. As for example hatterson and other United supporters here have several times explained.

Was really hoping United would've gotten him this window. Think he would've fit Amorims system quite well
The financial situation kind of prevents any major signings, barring someone overpaying for a United player.. Plus I think it was reported that he turned down United.

Well the rumors I saw were it would've been a loan, which would've worked with Case likely leaving.
