And yet Zirkzee has less than half the goal contributions this year as Havertz who Arteta is "clinging onto" ... can't wait until Antony has a solid 45min cameo and you think Man United can recoup 50M for him
Zirkzee is also younger and new to the league. Havertz has had much more rope.

Veiga wanting out already is so strange to me.

Apparently fee is likely gonna be in the 30m range, which is almost triple what was paid over the summer.
Figured it out by the end though. It's just typical Chelsea-nomics. If someone wants to triple their money and let them sign a new toy in the process, more power to them.

...

that would be the case if it were Chelsea pushing him out, actively trying to cash in

but it's the player who is seeking a move

never let the facts get in the way though, follow your dreams brother <3
I respectfully disagree. I would say it was different if Chelsea were to say something like

“He's only 21, was signed as an extremely versatile option who could plug in in multiple positions. He's played every minute in the Conference League, every minute in both cups, and has broken into the senior NT and Maresca clearly likes him, so we are keeping him.”

That would be different

Chukwumeka also out the door soon it appears. Another of the guys totally “in the plans” who end up out of them in short order. Let’s see who else of the guys we’ve heard so much about follow him this window or the next.

Chelsea already have too many players. I respect their ownership for being very ambitious in their recruitement but chosing to play for Chelsea as a young player is also accepting that you can become sellable in a near future.

Already in 3 years within Todd Boehly ownership they already have flipped: Angelo, Diego Moreira.

Soon : Chukwuemeka, Casadei, Veiga

Most likely next in line: Guiu, Washington, David Datro Fofana, Petrovic, Mudryk, Ugochukwu, Disasi.

Not to mention older established players like Sterling, Koulibaly, Aubameyang.

Zirkzee's a newcomer to the EPL, it was clear first off that he needs time to adjust.
He's 2 years younger than Havertz. He's 23, not 18.

And I'm not crapping on him. I'm crapping on a "clinging onto Havertz" comment that's juxtaposed by Zirkzee's value supposedly going up from a decent performance and converting a penalty.

Right - Havertz is older. He also probably has at least twice as many senior appearances. Hell in the England, alone Zirzkee probably has around 20 appearances. Havertz easily has in that 100-150 range. I am with the Utd fans on this one. It's not a fair comparison

What has happened to Garnacho between last season and this one? Feel like United are shipping him off awfully quick.
I think the better question might be "What is his best position in the Amorim set up?" It's not definitely not upfront, and its probably not at wingback." To me Garnacho is about as 433 winger (maybe 442 wide if anyone still plays 442 regularly) as it gets. He is one of those that I simply don't think has a great positional fit at this point.

It's him getting used to a new system and not having enough training session behind him (due to the hectic schedule). Now United have had time to train and it's shown as clear improvements in the team's play and yesterday it showed Garnacho being more comfortable in the new role. I think he also suits better on the right side than left, because his right foot is clearly the stronger/better one. Also repeating myself, the only reason United are even listening to offers for certain players is because of their PSR situation. They are supposedly right at the limit, but the offers would have to reach their asking price. Even loaning Rashford would help and Chelseas buying Sancho will also help, but Casemiro potentially now open to a Saudi move would also help.

He has an attitude problem IMHO, he comes across as being very diva and spoiled kid mentality. That could be with age since every kid who starts for a huge club probably has some of that. He's going to Conte though who prefers Lukaku over Osimhen and comes across as a child himself, so this transfer will be fun.

It's not currently very close to becoming a transfer.

And apparently the asking price has gone up (apparently these prices are more factual than others):

I'm all for selling Disasi if only because it will prevent Maresca from ever using him at RB ever again, where he's just simply appallingly bad.

He's far from useless as a reserve CB, and has had a handful of really good performances. For games where we have to dig deep defensively, you could do a lot worse as far as CBs to bring off the bench. But he's not sturdy enough to be able to play as the RCB in a system where we're attempting to hold opponents on halfway, where Colwill is pinching defensively. I didn't realize until he went down how tactically load-bearing Fofana was.

If Juventus wants to light 40m on fire for Disasi, no one should stand in their way.

Yeah Kvara is done for 70M.
PSG not moving for Dhuran this window.
They're still looking for a 9.

Tel to PSG has been talked about for a while and makes a lot of sense.

Also Lyon's president Textor refuses to sell Cherki to PSG. Bayern rumored.
