For me, Scott will forever be grouped in with Rose/Garcia/Stenson. All from the same generation, all pure flushers, all peaked as at least #2 in the OWGR, all probably had skill levels that deserved a second major title.
They're expecting rain overnight and into the morning, so the course will play soft to start, and then dry out by the end of the day. That could mean someone posting a low number early, but all the big dogs are probably too far back for it to matter. It's always possible that the leaders might gag, though, since Spaun and Burns have never even sniffed contention at a major, and Scott hasn't been a serious threat in a decade. Has he even had a single legitimate chance on a major Sunday to win since 2013? I can't think of one.
