Looks like there may be a labor dispute pending

The United Football League season begins tonight with the debut of FOX UFL Friday!

Start your weekends with more of the spring football you love at 8 PM ET every Friday night. The 2025 season kicks off in Texas, where the Houston Roughnecks return to TDECU Stadium to host the visiting St. Louis Battlehawks.

The action continues on FOX at 4 PM ET on Saturday, as the defending conference champion San Antonio Brahmas travel to Arlington to take on the Renegades.

Sunday features an ESPN doubleheader starting at Noon ET, when the Michigan Panthers travel to Memphis to visit the Showboats. At 3 PM ET, the defending UFL Champion Birmingham Stallions make their first ever trip to the nation’s capital to take on the DC Defenders.

Spring football is back!

Interesting.. the NFLPA is basically just a rubber stamp for anything the NFL ownership wants.. so the cynic in me feels the NFL(PA) as an NFL ownership proxy, is enjoying stirring the UFL pot a little. Trying to destabilize an insignificant competitor like the UFL (?)

Cold, but kinda funny.

The UFL isn’t a competitor, there are people within the NFL who work for it.

Pretty significant trade, Simms was arguably Michigan's best receiver, should help Houston's anemic offense though I don't know by how much since they still don't have anyone to throw the football

Woke up early this morning.. looking for some background TV noise to go back to sleep.
And I found some UFL replays on Tubi. Not sure how long of a delay there is until they're offered on Tubi, but thought it was cool.

New CBA reached

Year-round health coverage and a small increase for the minimum salary for this and next season for those playing in all 10 games

Must be doing well enough.
