Good period for Slovakia. Tentative start, but that PP helped us gain some confidence and we are keeping pace with the Canadians.

Kind of annoyed that I’ve finally been able to watch one of these games live and Martin goes and gets himself kicked out before I finish sitting down to watch the game

that moment where 3 of our players tried to deflect a shot whilst tripping eachother was so funny but at the same time this is type of fight and determination i want to see.

that PK was frustrating at start but then i realized the way we defended them in that group stage game and saw how smart of movement our players are now making, not giving Canada players any clear shot or one timer situation whilst getting exposed.

it was slow start with two terrible PPs but as minutes went, we were getting better and more confindent.

I missed it but i thought it was a hit on a Slovak who was nowhere near the puck. Any blind side hit or hard hit that is interference should be 5 minutes

Good win for Canada

They didn’t give up a ton of quality and when they did Ivankovic was locked in

Keaton Verhoeff was great on the blueline. He looks like Aaron Ekblad out there. Big mobile RHD. He’s so advanced for his age physically, but the processor seems high end too. I also want to shout out Quinn Beauchesne. He’s been a beast in his own end all tournament

Up front I thought Kindel and Rechny were good again. They’ve delivered since joining the group. Rechny especially. He’s a fantastic Jr player, reminds me of a smaller Connor Zary. More of a pure shooter though. I’m not sure what he is at the next level, but I wouldn’t bet against him. He seems like one of those prospects that will find a way to carve out a career despite the physical limitations

Sloavkia can probably beat USA in Bronze Medal Game if that's how it ends up. USA would be favored but Slovakia will have a puncher's chance.

I liked Reschny, Verhoeff, Ivankovic, Roobroeck, and Smith this game. Reschny basically never disappoints in any viewing. As surefire an NHLer as there is on the team, in my opinion.

I did and Canada did. And, for the record, the first 2 episodes of Ozark were pretty good. But, then again, I've heard that Season 1 is good but the show goes down hill from there.

Key when playing U.S. is always keeping them scoreless during their initial 10-15 min of insane pressure, which Sweden succeeded at. Could go either way now. Härenstam looking sharp in net. Same with Quinlan
