Sweden's lacking one as well, heck, Björck was made Sweden's PP1 PPQB (PP2 this tournament as Frondell arrived after the other unit crushed it) and Sweden's coach feeling smug about how good of a decision that was.TSN going on about how the US didn't have a high-level trigger man for this tournament and game in particular... I would say the lack of a high-end offensive defenseman was one of the issues as this game went on. No Hutsons, no Hughes's. Hell, not even a Cam York.

For Slovakia, goal # 1 for the U.S. canNOT go in.
nah they are just a bit weakThé embellishment thar the Slovak players have demonstrated over the last 24 hours is pretty embarrassing

Don't think that's the issue for this particular team. They just aren't very good, lol. A bit more talent on paper than Slovakia but not enough where normal ebb and flow can't go either way on a given day.I appear to be bad luck for my own country. It was 1-0 when I tuned in and now it's 2-1 to Slovakia.
It would be a very American thing to do to lose this game. We tend to be pretty abysmal in bronze medal games in all age groups, as if we have the attitude of "we're to good for this" and don't give a shit if we've lost the semifinal. It's embarrassing.
They want to ensure it ends so they have time to get ready for the GMG.Ugh, 3 on 3 overtime...
