We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.
What This Means for You:
- If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.

Has he? I haven't watched, but I've heard that his underlying numbers are great. I've read that he has struggled fitting into Carolina's system that is very different than what the Avs had. My information comes mostly from Finnish media, so there may be some favoritism, but they can also be quite critical towards their own.

Would be surprised if Palmieri isn’t moved in the next couple hours. Lou should at minimum clear out all the guys who aren’t under contract next year

For the prices these players are going for, I almost hope he is lol

Crazy how much Stankoven's stock has fallen. Wasn't he a player that people were hoping our young players would turn into like a year ago?
They have almost no assets remaining. Hurricanes have a ton of cash... maybe they add Gibson + another player. Stanks is definitely a downgrade from Necas/Rantanen... they are smart enough to have something else cooking.

Sadly looks like the Isles are actually extending him. They should really be trying to make a run at the McKenna sweepstakes in 2026 because I'd rather McKenna end up on Islanders than SJ/CHI/NSH/PIT.
I mean, he's a good young player, but he's also four feet tall with finishing issues. That as the main piece for a superstar is just crazy. Isn't Carolina already slight up front?

They draft, develop, and sign well. Built to compete now and long term.
They probably ship the picks they just got for other upgrades like Schenn, or some other underrated players that are good in their data analysis.
Can’t blame them being aggressive and you can’t force a player to extend.
What player(s) specifically would you like to see him go after?
The only two players still on the board that interest me are Rakell and Boeser, and the latter's price tag for a contract seems way too high to take on.

I mean. Pretty sure no one wants Fabbri and I wouldn't touch any of the rentals with our first, unless Boeser came with an extension. And even then his injury history kind of scares me.
