It's a massive overpay, but that's unfortunately the market this year. Avs got the best C on the market after getting outbid for Miller. Ritchie just wasn't gonna be what they needed soon enough

He has 0G, 9A in his last 10 games. This was obviously still a huge price we've given up, but he had been slowing down a lot over the last month+ in the OHL, we'll see what this looks like in a couple of years.
