On Seravalli's show, they are claiming that the Avs could infact trade back for Rants. I still doubt that is true. Makes no sense.

This guy is quickly approaching Eklund level hack for me.

I feel like Carolina would let him walk over trading him back to the Avs at less value after giving up Necas.

All the Avs have to offer is Mitts and futures. Unless they trade Val or Lehky which seems doubtful. They'd probably just sign him as a UFA if they wanted to go that route, which also seems doubtful for the reasons they gave when they made the trade.

That whole team has been bad. He had 40 goals last year, goes to the Preds and falls off a cliff but he’s 35 so likely do. I could see it as a cmac move for sure though
