Tuch would be a good fit on this Avs team. His speed and zone entry ability is what makes this team work. We've seen it with Nuke. Not saying Tuch is anywhere as good as Nuke but he has that speed and size aspect.
Probably a great fit.

However, what's the price?
I doubt the Sabres want pure futures.

He'd actually be worth putting up a 1st + Richie type offer unlike a lot of the other players available.

ROR then Tuch in that order would be my top forward targets.

Mitts for ROR, then 1st + Richie for Tuch. That's balls on the table.

We all know that you never make any eye popping, mind blowing, cool as f*** deals at the deadline, CMac. But could you do it this year, please? Nelson, Tuch, Nelson and Tuch! Trade everything you have to because we all know Ritchie is gonna Newhook, and the Russian d-man isn't coming over anytime soon. Just blow our minds, man.

At this point I just want more NHL depth on the roster. I like our goaltending, offense can be hit or miss depending on the night. Overall I think last years approach is correct to some level. If you can get impact guys do it. But get some offensive depth that just plays solid hockey and brings some energy. Get AHL guys off the roster. Thats all I feel like I have expectations for.

This team has a tandem that can let them go on a run.

Tampa has been hit and miss with their aggressive moves. Let’s see how this one turns out.
The problem is that Tampa's weakness is on D. If this trade goes through, it is eerily similar to when the Oilers signed Skinner and Arvidsson in the off-season, and those moves haven't really paid off at all. Just wasted cap space adding to an already position of strength.
