I appreciate that he's been more aggressive. But yeah I agree overall. But at the end of the day so do 30 other GM's as well.

CMac brought up staying healthy couple of times in his presser, and I agree with him. We still need to make couple of more moves and stuff, but the most important thing for this team is to stay healthy. In Val’s case, stay healthy and clean. He said we can have bunch of good players, but if we’re not healthy, it doesn’t matter which is true

Trenin and Duhaime were largely ineffective for the Avs. That may have been due to Bednar. Not a good fit at all. Walker wasn’t good either. I don’t know why either, THAT one should’ve worked wonderfully. It’s possible Walker just doesn’t do well in that sort of system, he’s a puckmover but one who seems to do better with more conservative defensive systems around him. He was also paired up with Jack Johnson which wasn’t ideal.

Wood and Colton have been miserable failures. Mitts…I don’t know what to make of him but he’s all but erased what good he did when he first arrived. If he’s hurt the Avs should say so. But if he’s not that’s even more alarming. Either way he’s been a nonentity since November.

Bedsy would team them up for matchups constantly like after an icing on the opposition when their defense is huffing and puffing and he basically throws a PP lineup out there. Also, I mean, you'd have to put them together sometimes for fun.

PP and I guess when the Avs are down a goal or two late and need to score, they could put Sid Nate and Necas together

I'm positive it would be more than just that. Something akin to what Hartley used to do with Sakic and Forsberg and play them together on occasion, especially if the Avs were stalling offensively.

Offseason for now, unless the cap is needed he's depth scoring and able to play up if needed. We need more, not less.
