Some coaches are really rigid in the type of power play prototype players they want to have in each role. Seems like Larson is really set on a bumper who’s a big bodied guy to create space. BC had Leonard in that spot last year and it worked well. The issue with moving Leonard there is you lose one of the only right shot guys on the umbrella. I wouldn’t be a big fan of that move. I also don’t like the move of adding Eiserman, moving Hagens down low and Perrault to the bumper.
The 2nd PP has been pretty good, no reason to mess with it. They should’ve tried someone at the bumper spot earlier in the tourney no matter what size they are. When Finland played them last they all but ignored Burnevik, played more aggressive on the perimeter and didn’t give the PP1 much time to set up. If they do the same and the rest of the PP has lost faith in giving him chances likes it seems like they have, the PP1 will probably struggle again today unless they can make something happen off transition or the rush
