I will lose my head if we play bad tomorrow vs Czechia. The coaches have Stenberg, Edstrom, Eklund, ASP and Lindstein this time. This time theres no excuse to be pretty meh like last tournament and the summer US tourney.

Have not watched a lot of the latest 5 nations, but every day closer to the world juniors I get more and more negative regarding our center lineups. Aside from Edstrom, who is more of a coordinator than a driver anyways, it's looking really bleak. Lots of fun wingers and defenceman, and goalies are a tossup in such a short event. But there is no way the US or Canada are looking this weak down the middle.

Herman Träff has impressed med in the first 2 games, imo he's a lock. Big, fast, good shot.

Takeaway from 5-nations in Finland.
Something just feels lacklusting offensive in this team especially the last two games against Sui and Fin, I really hope they give the chance to Frondell when its time for WJC. i tried to focus this tournament on some of the new forwards.

+Herman Träff seems given after this tournament.
+06-Centers Berglund and Eriksson (esp against Finland) added some well needed depth in the middle.

Undecided
* Danielsson seemed to have one good game then kinda disappeared.
*Hedqvist not sure what i think mixes good grit/speed which i love with unnecessary penatlies and misstakes that will be punished against better teams (was great against finland)

Negative/Not impressed
- Noah Downer seemed kinda weak in battles and did not create much, which is worrying when it will be small rink.
- Granberg was invisible and i had higher hope on him after seeing him in the shl.

What other forwards could strengthen this group when it comes to WJC except FUS and V.Eklund?

I had Granberg on my team. But probably Berglund ahead of him would be a wise pick. Berglund is a better fit for a checking unit than Granberg is.

Ye i agree with Berglund and he fits alot of boxes with being able to help up higher up in the lines also if needed. A really versatile player
