Oh boy... These would all be super underwhelming adds.
Especially with Blake's history, so a first and Spence + going the other way

Nachos are a no go. Kaliyev was running the Nacho cart.I don't want them trading any futures. I am cool with them trading depth
TDL Wishlist:
Extend Gavrikov, if he won't use the jedi mind trick to waive him NMC
Trade excess d-man
Nachos
King's likely can't afford a Necas type player. They wouldn't like the defensive mistakes from an offensive leaning player.I like Evans--a lot even. He's just redundant. So he's perfect for this dinosaur org.
Donato and Laughton are decent upside swings but again dumpster diving for more of the same.
Like who looks at our lineup and goes "they definitely need more 3rd and 4th liners"
Don't make me deport you to the Ducks' boardNachos are a no go.
Barzal blocked a shot on Saturday and is out indefinitely.Bored and thinking about dream scenarios for the Kings #thisactuallyISXbox

Proposed trades:
Kings send Phil Danault, Trevor Moore, F Koehn Ziemmer, and a 2026 1st round pick (top 3 protected) to the New York Islanders in exchange for Matt Barzal
Kings send Akil Thomas and a 2026 2nd round pick to the Nashville Predators for Gustav Nyquist.
Cap space: $30k
Chances of winning the cup with this roster: 99%
Who says no? And who says hell yes?
Damn, saw him listed as DTD so figured it wasn't too seriousBarzal blocked a shot on Saturday and is out indefinitely.

Unfortunately Kings management will not do as they really believe they are right there and what is really unfortunate is they dont have the sense that they are not there right now.. Also Danault would only have to waive if team is on his 10 no trade list, so I would imagine most contenders wouldn't be on there.Trade Gav to a contender for a first. (Hope he would waive)
Trade Danault (would have to waive) and Moore
Go get Cozens from Buffalo with our new acquired capital
With the extra money, this off-season go after Boeser. Re-sign Jeannot as long as there is no raise involved
May need to use some money to upgrade left defense. Team would be younger, hunger, with more speed and talent. Just we need a coach that knows how to deploy these people.
Kempe - Byfield - Cozens
Fiala - Turcotte - Boeser
Foegele - Kopitar - Laf
Jeannot - Helenius - Thomas
Lee
Doughty - Anderson
Clarke - Moverare
Spence - Edmundson
Bouroughs
Kuemper
Portillo
I think you are missing a decimal point: 99% -- I think you meant 0.99%.Proposed trades:

well they are using statistics that are years ahead of the rest of the NHLMaybe Luc Robitaille hacked his account.
Don't be surprised if the Kings do nothing but scratch around the edges at the deadline.“This is the same group of guys who played extremely well and won a lot of games if you go back the 6, 7, 8 games we’ve struggled. It’s the same group of guys. The puck was going in for them then, I don’t think it’s ever going to go in at a really high rate for us, that’s clear, but it’s going to go in more than it is. We’ll get ourselves through it and we’ll talk about it, I’m sure it’s frustrating for us, but I don’t think we gain anything by doing that, as a team.”
Its not totally the same group though. They were winning then he moved around some things to make room for Trevor, Trevor, and DoughtyInteresting quote from Hiller in LA Kings Insider about bringing help from the outside:

Pretty much, sounds like a weak cope from Hiller. I don't understand why he wouldn't go back to the lineup that was winning pre-Lewis. That 4th line with Helenius and Lee was seriously underrated, they were punishing to play against at least. Easier said than done though...Its not totally the same group though. Been that way for about a decade now, sadly. These proposed trades and lineups don't do anything for me. They look like 1st round exit teams.
We're spinning our wheels.
Correct. Don't think the King's have the assets, cap space or players to get out of the first round. Just looking at options & where deficits on the roster are they may try and fix. Guess, shore up wing or D with cheap players & target a high end center in the summer. Not that one will be available. These proposed trades and lineups don't do anything for me. I'd actually like them to get S. Jones. He'd be cheap asset wise & it would be months, possibly years of entertainment. This team isn't going anywhere with Bluc.
1-2 more years to get rid of Luc. 3-5 years rebuilding. Doughty coming off the books soon & cap going up. Hawks probably retain down to 7-7.5. What's the problem? It's going to stop the King's from being right there? Embrace the insanity!!!Shirley you can't be serious
