2025 Summer Transfer Rumors and Discussion Closed Window

ESPN is a legit source now. They have gotten WAY better compared to five years ago. I still wouldn't take them over the likes of Sky Sports, Fabrizio Romano, The Times, and The Telegraph, but they're better than the likes of random sport journalists from Spain, Italy, or South America.
Better than random Man U blogs though?

There are plenty of better sources in Spain, Italy, and South America. Especially when it comes to their own players and teams lol.

Tom Bischof to Bayern from Hoffenheim on a free to provide some competition in midfield. Why is he leaving on a free though at 19 though? @cgf

Arthur Veermeeren's loan from Atletico to Leipzig made permanent for 20 mil.

Amoura's loan from Union SG to Wolfsburg made permanent for 15 mil. Quite a bargain.

Felix Udoukhai's loan from Augsburg to Besiktas made permanent for 5 mil

TSG couldn't get Bischof to sign an extension last summer for the same reasons young starlets always start looking to move; their personal perspective isn't great and the club isn't super exciting.

Bischof broke through this season as an attacking 8, but he got just 169 BuLi minutes last year and 310 minutes the year before, so he wasn't getting the PT to guarantee a signature last summer.

And the club has been midtable at best because their defense has been a disaster that Baumann has had to paper over for years now. Sure Kramaric, Hlozek, and Moerstedt are a nice collection of forwards, but what else does that club have?

Amoura's some great business for VFL, but I haven't seen it with Veermeren yet. He seems perfectly fine, but 20M? Not my money :dunno:

Anyways, Mainz is poaching Hollerbach to replace Burkardt...who is reportedly favoring a move to Frankfurt...with 1.FCU set to snag Paderborn's Ilyas Ansah to join the scottish-Bale, Ilic, and Ljubicic in our attack.

Hollerbach's got the right attitude on the pitch, but I dunno if he has the skill for a club of that level. Can't help feeling like this season was near the peak of what he's capable of. Luckily for them, I still rate Weiper a lot if he can stay fit.

Still hoping we make a play for Moukoko since Baumgart has been a fan of his for a long time now and I like our defense + midfield...sounds like the club expects Kemlein to take a big step next season...but the goals will always be a concern for a club like us.

- Stuttgart are closing on Lorenz Assignon
- Leverkusen are close to Axel Tape & Mark Flekken

It may be, but I cannot see LFC saying "lets pay more for a guy who isn't as good as the other guy we wanted from the same team"
Except they are signing Wirtz. Fofana is a LW.
Cherki's price is only due to his own deal with Lyon. Fofana will go much more no doubt.

Kellerher to Brentford for 18m.

In the last year of his deal. Probably could have held out for more but he’s done everything and more that he’s been asked of. Vital part of winning the Premier League this season. Think everyone is pretty happy here. Also frees up Flekken going to Leverkusen

As for PSG transfer window, not many options to upgrade.
They need a quality RB backup. A right footed CB.
A midfielder (4 quality options for 3 spots).
Selling Kang In Lee and bringing another offensive option (Akliouche?).

Donna might leave (contract ends in 26). Either he resigns or PSG will hunt, probably for Chevalier.

Ramos might leave. If so PSG has to buy a 9.

Kolo will leave.

Just using transfermrkt values here - not perfect but easiest.

And keep in mind LFC isn’t done selling after Diaz either

I mean the obvious name on here is Gordon because we know LFC likes him and LFC need HG. Maybe Gittens figures in for a similar reason. Morgan Rogers who was lightly linked is probably in this bracket too.

Williams and Barcola in that range. Xavi Simons.

And like I don’t think Fofana is bad, I just think he’s a bigger gamble than some of these other guys. And he is very small. Just signed Frimpong, not sure how much smaller LFC want to get

Yes, they are considered a source, though not necessarily the highest rated. High enough to be rated though.

You’ve got to keep an eye on who the writer is though. That is what makes the difference.
You do understand how these tweets by numerous aggregators work though? They add the original source at the end in parenthesis.
They don’t though. It’s lucky if they are aggregating a secondary source, let alone a primary source.
