I think this is fair to think as well, but if I’m just looking at macro team-building/squad management, I’d rather have Delap’s profile (especially in PL) than Cunha. I don’t think either is at the top of my list though.Delap's closer to this year's Broja than he is to anything resembling Cunha. I wouldn't trade Cunha for 2 Delaps.
Also I think Delap could still level up. I think Man City might have a lowkey lousy talent eval with letting guys like Palmer/Rogers/etc leave, so I think the foundation there is probably good. Cunha probably has a higher ceiling, but again he’s older and he has some downsides. Delap is just going to be one of those PL for ten years with double digit goal types
