Good win. Very encouraging. Mayer will be up sooner or later. If it lights a fire under Story's ass, good!

Dobbins impressed the hell out of me last night. Hope Houck was paying attention because he has looked like garbage so far. No point in having him in the rotation until he gets his game together. He's just hurting the team. Nice to see some hitting, also.

Feel free to roast me gently all you want about Story. Let’s see what happens when he is not facing the White Sox though.
I love roasting you but I love all your takes they are never boring
Story has to play 144 + games though
He’s the key to this team

Houck is a bad start away from a phantom IL stint, the stuff has been on a pretty steady decline since first half of last year. Makes me think he may eventually need some sort of arm surgery tbh

I'm hoping he goes on the IL, imo

He has NOT looked the same. After the break last year he looked off and still does.

I love Jim Rice. Great to see him happy and chilled - feared and best hitter for about 10 years

Big fan of the Romi Gonzalez and Rob Refsynder line up against lefties

If the Sox go far and grab the region no doubt Romi Gonzalez is the Ace Bailey of the Big Bad Bruins

Hunter Dobbins is super impressive- his 13.2 pitch thrown with no one is a dream. If he was DeLoreaned back to 1977 he would be a 15-20 game winner with that stuff

The Plymouth Rock commercial with the groundskeeper heading out with Lint brush is brilliant

I’d use a wish on Liam Hendriks to be exceptionally successful
