Red Sox/MLB 2025 Regular Season

There is no reason why this roster should look this atrocious.

I'm looking at Cora and Fatse.

I don't know what's going on, but something clearly is happening. And I don't know what's going to fix it. They have no plate discipline. They look awful fielding. There's just...so much wrong. And it's the basics that look awful.

I heard on DA & Babchick this morning that the Phoenix Suns are paying 3 coaches nearly $100 million in dead money over the next 4 seasons.
That's new money owner Ishbia though. John Henry would choke on his cigar at the thought of that.

Cora should be looked at though. Where does Theo come into play? Does he at least provide some overall big picture thoughts to FSG on where the organization stands?

Any way you slice it, it's a good thing that Crochet is the stopper.
He could be the only thing between this being a mediocre team and being a bad team.
With the Bruins being what they are at this point, I've invested and watched most of every game so far.
With life the way it is, I usually tune in around 8ish. Sucked it was such a blowout so early

I continued my binge watching of Ken Burns baseball instead.

Priester has 5 innings of No-hit ball going for Milwaukee. Been watching that game in between Bruins periods. Far from dominating and I doubt he finishes the 6th inning. But so far he's been solid for the Brewers. 1R on 10IP in 2 starts so far.

I have been busy tracking the Bruins and making jokes. That said, have a night Bregman, and Buehler's uptick in velocity is encouraging. Still, doubt they even break.500 with Devers and Casas struggling.

How does P.E.C.O.T.A. know?

Finally a win. Kids are malnourished. But a win indeed.

Big win in so many ways

They showed they can get their nuts kicked in and bounce right back

Duran big game for him
Buehler looks solid

Story plays 150 they are winning 90 ~ heck of a player healthy

Cora doesn’t panic and excellent manager

Also Merloni is so freakin good - hate the Boston accent but other then that he’s a keepah

I think he ends up a back end of the rotation guy because he doesn’t miss a ton of bats but I think the brewers have themselves a decent starting pitcher for a long time

Totally agree. MKE needs arms who can soak up innings until they can get healthier in their rotation and some of their younger arms can step up. Priester and Quintana have both filled in nicely so far. They’ve given up 1R through 17IP between them since they’ve joined the club.

I view the trade as a win for both sides- some fans wanted to make it out as the Sox giving up on Priester but it was more the brewers targeting him imo. A very shrewd front office.

The Sox add a solid OF prospect but most importantly now get to have a lot more draft day flexibility

The Brewers desperately needed pitching now and managed to land a young starting pitcher with some upside

Fun fact that I think you'll appreciate. He's from the Crystal Lake, Ill., area.
