Letting Hamilton swing away was certainly a choice by Alex
Sandlin made him look like a clown lmao. The swing to end the AB was just pure "wtf are you doing?"

Campbell had some good ABs at least. I thought for sure he was going to end that game.

Any good vibes completely gone again now losing 3 straight to mediocre Jays

Casas a consistent black hole at the plate

Pretty disappointing

My take, hate to see a turn in this direction against the Jays but it's cold and it's early April. I know, every game counts and we'll remember these games in September, yada yada yada. Season is young, I'm more worried about the pitching in the long run than the hitting. Long way to go, this team will hit as it heats up in New England.

Tying run on second, no out, with a pinch hitter on deck followed by the top of the order, and an incredibly weak batter at the plate, you've gotta bunt to at least give Refsnyder the chance to hit a sac fly.

Yea,you make a good point .I never watched close enough could they not pinch hit for weak batter

Yeah it would be one thing if Hamilton was swinging a good bat but he’s like 1 for 20, have him bunt

Sad thing is if they make the plays in the first inning they win in 9

1000% this. Divisions aren't won in April and I wouldn't put much stock in any game played in 35 degree weather. 2 weeks in and they're 1 game under .500 with 149 to go...

Atlanta is 2-9 and the Angels are 7-4. Neither one of those teams are gonna end the season where they currently are.

Crochet has battled and his command still isn't 100%. That guy is gonna be filthy once he finds it...

This team swings at anything and everything. Same story as last year. They refuse to take a pitch
Offense wasn't the problem last year. Nor is it this year. They lead the the AL in BA, Hits, and Hits with RISP. They're also 3rd in OPS and second in Runs Scored. They ARE 2nd in the AL in K's so your point is fair.

Pitching and Defense has been their Achilles Heel and so far that's still the case. Last in MLB in errors, 2nd last in Fielding % and tied for 5th worst in Total Runs Allowed. Not to mention some of the base-running brain farts they've had.

Other than Crochet, their pitching has been meh.....But its still early.

I would hate to waste therapy every 3 month check in on the Red Sox but that’s where I am in my life

Very depressing

I am blaming the weather so that excuse makes me feel better

Wish the Sox would get the bats going against Toronto at some point so they don't get swept. Did a great job being patient against Baltimore and St. Louis. All of a sudden they stopped and aren't producing. The pitching was good yesterday but no hitting.:ha:

My sister's at the game. Her boss gave her tickets. She's behind the plate. Lucky! Lol

There we go

Six solid shutout innings from Buehler, gotta love that. Offense needs to get going but Bregman finally broke through.
