The theme of the season was definitely In the mix. Not sure if it's "interesting" or funny to the neutral observer.
Another theme could be that we have the youngest playoff team in decades.

Murat was a mad lad and a true flamboyant Frenchman. His charge at Eylau is the stuff of legends and what being a Marshall was all about. He was my favorite general in Koei's L'Empereur. I would 100% be down on playoff avatars based on each players French Marshall alter ego.

Davout has always been my favorite, probably in large part because he was the only one of the bunch to not be completely bonkers
Heck of a strategist, too. Murat was definitely the rock star of the marshalls.

I think a goonies theme fits this year very appropriately.
