Losing Laine and Reinbacher at the start of the year was a buzzkill. Losing Dach later on was devastating, and thinking we lost Guhle for the season - I basically gave up hope. Didn't watch as many games. Focused on other things.

BUT MAN, this team doesn't give up! What a story, from the resilience of this core, being bottom of the standings in December, always down but never out, Hutson having a historic season and the introduction of Demidov, making it in the very last game. Couldn't have written a better script! Go Habs Go!
Thank you, John Lennon. Very cool!

My memory is not what it use to be but I vaguely remember the Habs being brutal for several games going into the 93 playoffs and of course they lose the first two games against Quebec.

Let's just win one in Washington. If we come home with a split anything can happen!

We need the world beaters that took out Florida in back to back games. Not whatever the hell happened for the last 4ish games of the season.

Having the most spectacular player in the world in Montreal for the next decade is the greatest thing ever!

-Being in da mix was a big accomplishment, making the post season is tremendous and is a great development and learning curve moment for this team.
- Props to the boys, Hughs, Gorton , Molson and Im glad MSL is the coach. Season is a big success.
- Washington series. We have no 2C and Demidov just has nobody to play with unless Laine returns to his form of years ago. So no 2nd line. The team as a whole is tired, including the bottom 6. As to defence its not big, physical and truculent enough, and its tired. MSL should have played Xhekaj down the final stretch but didnt. The Caps and Wilson are going to terrorize the slot area. Our goaltending will probably be okay, but not a certainty. The four days rest is really important. Recovery time for the young guys will be faster , but I worry about the vets on D and the bottom 6. I want to note how well young guys speak of Brendan Gallagher. But we have a chance, not ruling this team out.

Its fun to be in the playoffs again. First time for most of the team, hope they enjoy themselves.

GO HABS GO

Yup........bang on.
It was a struggle...........and then game 3 in the first series was in OT and we won, and never looked back.
Crazy.

Great so we just need prime Patrick Roy to show up, along with a couple more 90 point players
