Parayko out the rest of the regular season, don't see how the Blues can overcome that, they will likely fade
Their remaining schedule is against mostly bottom feeders. They will make it close.

Farabee looks like a nice addition for the Flames.Need Calgary to go on a nice little win streak here
Likely to happen.Dallas vs. Avs in the first round would be just epic after all this.
This will come as a great surprise but
you guys all ready for Kings-Oilers part 4
C'mon Vegas, throw the entire world a bone here
Likely to happen.
I think Jets-Blues would be a beauty series too.
The Blues are firing on all cylinders right now. They look like a completely new team coming out of the break.
No, WC1/WC2 is probably Wild/Blues. Flames don’t have the horses to do it. They need to win 7/9 to end the season. How long can the Flames stay in the race? Can they catch the Wild by the time they meet on April 11th?
The Wild and Blues as the West WCs is basically a lock now. Only their order is a question. No, WC1/WC2 is probably Wild/Blues. Flames don’t have the horses to do it. They need to win 7/9 to end the season.

If the Wild keep playing like they have lately, that game could decide a playoff spot. How long can the Flames stay in the race? Can they catch the Wild by the time they meet on April 11th?
Any combination of 3 (Minnesota wins or Vancouver losses) eliminates them.Canucks are toast? what record would they need?
Calgary is 5 points back with 2 games in hand and they have 1 game left against the Wild.
The Flames also have 2 games against the Sharks and 1 against the Ducks.
The Flames actually control their own destiny, not the Wild.
The Wild hold control over that spot, by 2 points and the tie breaker. They seem to however want to make it as interesting as possible. Unlike the Blues, who for the last 11 games have become the Jerks of the west.Well, by virtue of there being a head-to-head, the Wild control their fate too. If they at least force that game into OT (they have the RW tiebreaker by some distance), then at best Calgary is still -4 with the two games in hand which would still only get them into a tie without the tiebreaker advantage.

With the games in hand and the head to head vs the wild, the flames actually control their own destiny and make the playoffsnover the wild if they win out with the win vs wild being in regulation, regardless of what wild do in their other games.Any combination of 3 (Minnesota wins or Vancouver losses) eliminates them.
Calgary on the other hand, if they can win their games next week against San Jose, and Anaheim, and the pivotal game against the Wild, could be in reach of a playoff spot. Minnesota also plays San Jose next week, and the Canucks have a spoiler opportunity next Saturday, in a back to back for the Wild following the Flames game.
I am counting on the Wild to lose to Dallas on Sunday, but maybe they somehow win that game. If they don't and the Flames win at home against Vegas tomorrow, it's a race to the finish.
Golden Knights now have to look in their rear view as the Kings and Oilers approach late in the season.
The Winnipeg-Dallas race for 1st in the West gets serious next week too.
Colorado is probably the only playoff team in the West secure in their spot.
