2025 Off-Season Hot Stove II - Alex Bregman in agreement with the Boston Red Sox

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Cora Interview on WEEI i personally enjoyed and got a lot out of

One takeaway ~ Bergman seems to be the 3B

Second going to be an opportunity between Grisom, Hamilton, and Campbell if seizes it

Just realized for that stiff Verdugo a major disappoint, Breslow got Greg Weissert, Richard Fitts, and 2023 solid pitching prospect Nick Judice.

That is a heck of a return with a chance to actually hit on one or more

Weissert was already useful and delivery and arm slot make him a tough at bat against righties

Dick Fitts popped HUGE today. Up to 99 with a fastball that has good IBV too. New slider. New 12-6. Throwing a sinker. Throwing a splitter instead of a change. Looks like a new guy

kid clearly put in work this winter. Might be a rotation dark horse throwing like this

Crazy the amount of pitching they pumped into this organization ~ it’s all sorts of arms, deliveries, strengths /

Looks like a scene out of the wildly successful 1990’s Home Town Buffett on 114 in Danvers where in an hour if you had the stomach could eat ribs, haddock, spaghetti, pot roast, and baked chicken.

Surprised Yankees would hand over 3 useful arms for Verdugo.

Aside

This guy Luis Guerrero who pitched 10 shutout innings in his MLB debut last September with 2 W & 9 K’s is interesting.

He has a longer right leg and it’s noticeable when he walks from surgeries on hips I think as a kid.

He can reach 100 but it’s a super splitter that dies at the plate which could make him death on hitters if his control maintains
