Yep, I would definitely recommend paying for it, especially since you will get their draft guide next week. $15 for the month.Pay to play article.

Absolutely disappointing if that happens. Drafting a guy who may never show up in the NHL due to injuries. From ep mock draft
The big man finally hears his name. The Ducks, already flush with talent across the board, fill a rare organizational gap by selecting Roger McQueen. The towering centre has a rare combination of size and skill that makes him a unique asset. There are obvious concerns around his injury history, but that's precisely why he's still on the board at 10. If he hits, McQueen might just carry the highest ceiling in the entire draft class.
Eklund is really underrated in a lot of rankings, I don't think he makes it to ten.
Worried that he is too small to play this way in the NHL.

Ya I have had the same concern and feelings especially when you look at recent comps like Benson and Savoie who dropped because of their size.I'm less worried about that from the way he battles men already at 17. Guys with his level of awareness and agility find ways to make it work. Better prospect than his brother and Frondel IMO.
Sure, but the physicality from both a philosophical as well as spatial point of view is much different in the NHL than the SHL. I would be worried about injuries and then what he has to pivot to if he has to change his game to survive.I'm less worried about that from the way he battles men already at 17. I don't think that is as guaranteed as you think.Fell ? McQueen will be there at #10 for sure. May even be there at #14.
If he isnt there at #10 then that means someone really good dropped to the Ducks such as O'Brien or Martin. That would be like 2010 or 2019 all over again. Other teams making mistakes is how the Ducks got Fowler and Z.I don't think that is as guaranteed as you think.

I really get the sense that somehow we will be drafting a guy we really like, and would’ve drafted at #8 as well. We’re due a little fowleresque luckEklund is too good to be there at 10. The only reason he is dropping in rankings is because he is a small wing but he has the traits necessary to succeed in the NHL at his size. One team before us is going to prioritise drafting talent over position.
Depending how the picks go... i could def see Boston/Philly grabbing McQueen.... Both teams prob shoot for highest upside center at their picks... which depending on your scouts might mean McQueen who would prob be comfortably top 5 pick if not for injuries.Fell ? McQueen will be there at #10 for sure. May even be there at #14.
I doubt it, I think LD is one of our strongest positions.I see a lot of discussion but do you guys have a "perfect world" pick? Honestly, you guys are the toughest one for me to peg down on who you might take and for what reasons. You're pretty flush with talent across the board so I couldn't even point to a pick to bolster the group. I thought maybe Aitchenson might fill the biggest "need"?
What are you all thinking?
I agree from a roster POV. I just thought adding another big body banger to go with Solberg would be good?I doubt it, I think LD is one of our strongest positions.
He’d be a nice add, if he’s the BPA on their board go for it, I just feel there’s positions we need to strengthen more.I agree from a roster POV. I just thought adding another big body banger to go with Solberg would be good?
