Drafting Desnoyers and Carbonneau would also shut some media mouth for a couple of years

Agree, he’s my biggest disappointment in the who Q

I hope this org learned that lesson from Louis Leblanc, I remember attending that draft and praying for Kreider while the crowd was completely lost and shouting for Louis

I wasn't at the draft but I was saying.. Kreider or Josefson, Kreider or Josefson, under my breath.

Josefson would've been as effective as Leblanc, so I'm not patting myself on the back there.. but I never liked Leblanc.

I'm still hoping for Hagens/Misa although I wouldn't complain at all about Martone or Schaefer.

We still desperately need another high end center, ideally someone that will be able to challenge Suzuki for the #1 spot. If we address our 2C concern through a trade it's likely going to be a guy with a 2C ceiling, but with Misa/Hagens we'd have that chance of them overtaking Suzuki which would mean we're a much more competitive team.

With Martone our winger situation would be fantastic, but even a line of Demidov-Dach/Dvo-Martone would probably be very underwhelming due to the lack of offense all of our centers (excluding Suzuki) bring.

i would draft Quinn Hutson if he's there with our 5th rd pick, yes 22 years old but he is kicking ass this year in Boston,
I would take the gamble.

Again top 4 is awesome , just like the next couple years.
We got lucky with Demidov we could of end up with Sennecke easy.
If we drop out of the top 4 i am really not sure who we are getting.
If Schmidt was like 5,10 i would pick him at #5

I mean, I wasn't expecting them to invite Michage Hage because Hockey Canada are a bunch of dumb asses, but i'm mildly surprised that they didn't invite even invite Beckett Sennecke or Tij Iginla unless i'm missing something.

They didn't invite them. They also didn't invite Yakemchuk or Parekh. Sens fans will be furious. They thought he was a sure thing. At least Montreal fans knew Hage wasn't getting an invite.

Plus Yakemchuk is an 05 birth year so this is his last year of eligibility to play at the WJC
