Misa with two goals and a helper today, he's tied for the OHL scoring lead now. I'd be willing to endure the Jar Jar Binks jokes to get Misa. 20 goals in 17 games for him.

It depends, like he could have heard dont expect Martone to go top 2 because Schaefer will be the real push for Hagens' spot and he's sensationalizing that for clicks.

I very much doubt a guy that big and talented is falling very far, 4th is the latest I could conceive of it, maybe 5th it McQueen comes back on fire and wins the positional debate.

It’s his opinion, Martone was already 3rd for him as of now and then he saw Martone play live friday, which was probably his worst game ever. He said it’s only one game and that he’ll keep an eye.

Things change a lot in a few months. His list won’t be the same through the year.

Our 'buddy' McKagg recently released his latest Recrutes Podcast stating that Martone is not a lock for a top 5 pick.

McCagg gave bad report on Martone in his lastest sick podcast. I noticed it was based on one game mostly

I don't see Hagen's at Jack Hughes level. No points tonight game. Made some nice plays but nothing outlining. He's playing with Leonard and Perrault. I think he gets some of his fame from International play. Doubt he be elite at NHL level though.

Schaefer is a LD but I have a hard time seeing them pass up on him. He could be the missing piece to a top 4 of Hutson, Guhle and Reinbacher. They still need a true do-it-all #1 defensemen.

Yeah they can just draft BPA, it's really just talent they need.

Schaefer would pretty much keep Guhle on RD though. Schaefer Hutson on the left, Reinbacher Guhle on the right

I'd say as long as the Habs finish top 3 they should get a really nice player in Hagens, Misa, or Martone.

Martone is a big, skilled winger, so given that he has the skill and size he might be the favourite for some.

Martone has been my guy since his first U18s.

See if it changes through the year but any 3 would be huge for us. Hagens, too but I might like Misa more at C for us

I agree but Martone is not a center and Misa is not a sure number 1 center in the Nhl.

Shaeffer will be a number 1 defenceman

Drafting Shaeffer will leave us with 4 young Defenseman in the top 4. Guhle end up playing in the opposite side. We need more vet at D.

I think Hagens is getting pretty underrated here. I love Martone but I think he's behind Hagens at this point. Hagens already has a pretty refined two-way game on top of being elite offensively, whereas Martone is deceptively poor defensively.
