I don't think they're very similar players.
Wright is more of a "traditional" center if you will, bigger, creates more offense by driving to the net and is more a finisher of plays/scorer. Has physicality to his game which I think will just keep evolving as he gains more experience. Skating has more powerful stride but less frequency which is common for bigger guys.
Hagens is a dynamo on skates, constantly harassing opponents without the puck and when he does have the puck, he's buzzing over the ice creating chances for him and his teammates. More of a playmaker than a scorer, but I think his shot is developable. The viewings I've had on Hagens haven't shown his best abilities in creating chances off the rush but I think that's going to be a major thing for him offensively once he gets to the NHL.
I think Hagens has more line "driver" qualities than Wright although I do think Wright's going to be a legit top-six center for years to come.
