2025 NHL DRAFT Thread

True, I’ve always felt draft the BPA. I look at the 2018 draft, Owen Power was the consensus #1 pick. He’s good but is he better than everyone picked after him?

1. Power
2. Beniers
3. McTavish
4. L. Hughes
5. Johnston
6. Edvinsson
7. Eklund
8. Clarke
9. Guenther
10. Boucher

Is Schaefer considered generational? If not I’d go Misa or Martone
Call me crazy but I think this is the 2021 draft.

double crazy because I really like Guenther.

jake o'brien is an interesting one. pretty young for this draft. very high IQ center that
makes plays. mom and dad both played at a high level. he's a rink rat and has 3 zone
proficiency. has a lot of room to grow, kind of slight right now. probably needs to pick
up another step (like bergeron did when he was drafted).

i'd love to hear @DominicT feedback on him - assume he's seen him a ton.

First sim in several weeks using Tankathon's fun Mock Draft simulator.

As the kids might say, "Stop the count!"
