Lundell was a slicker player than Frondell at draft age, all day long. That should tell you enough about that exec.
If they draft Frondell it's because they think he can grow into a little freight train. Take his stance, frame, puck protection & shot to that elite level in the coming years. You'd hope he could be the kind of guy that only does a couple things but you can't shut him down on those couple things. On a draft score sheet it doesn't add up, it's more about just reading those few tools hoping for a big projection. It sounds silly, but it's no sillier than expecting every kids soft skills to transfer like those who said Bedard's wrister alone would be good for 40+ his rookie year.
