Im thinking Frondell 6-1 200 lb center that is a way better skater as #4 above martoneAre we to the point where its

Schaefer is clear #1 with a gap and then Misa clear #2. I am less passionate on either Martone or Hagens at #3 at this point. Hagens was really good at the WJC and Martone not so much. Hagens is a size and shape we have stacked up quite a few similar forwards already and Martone is a flavor we are lacking in that department. Are we to the point where its

I haven't read anything where the Sharks have expressed a preference. Maybe Sharks fans have, but that's hardly evidence of what the GM and scouts are thinking. If Misa continues to play really well I think it's going to end up being a 1A vs 1B situation given Schaefer isn't playing.
I mean hell, the Sharks desperately need a franchise 1D type and even they want Misa over Schaefer these days. I would say it's probably pretty even between the two already, personally.
Wondering what type of deal that people would consider? If we're @ #2, and Shaefer went as #1, what would the deal have to be to consider trading the pick? IMO, the only thing that would make sense for the Hawks would be a blue-chip forward prospect that might be a little closer to contributing (Demidov from MON as an example - not saying that MON would make that offer). If you look over the last number of years - those type of moves are really rare and typically have some other issue in the background (Drysdale for Gauthier as an example).Hawks need to make the pick. They should only trade it if something really good popped up.

Pretty much like you said, it'd have to be a blue chip forward prospect coming back. I'm not sure why any other team would do that though.Wondering what type of deal that people would consider? Someone with a lot of team control. Basically, it'd be unlikely a trade would be made. Probably someone that wanted out for whatever reason. I personally feel like Martone is clearly a worse prospect to these 3 and I would be disappointed to draft 4th.
Exactly how I feel. If we somehow end up with 1 and the Sharks end up with 2, I'd try to flirt with seeing if we could trade with them and get another prospect for 1.I am team Schaefer at 1, I am team Misa at 2. I am team Hagens at 3.

I personally prefer Misa clearly to Hagens as well. I would be fine with Misa at 1 as well.
He also plays with two of the best players in the CHL (Misa and Parekh). Still underwhelming production from Vanacker so far this season though.Misa is being helped the arrival in the us and recover from injury Igor Chernyskov I was hoping that was who we were taking when we traded up for Vannacker. he is bigger and faster then Vannacker who has put up really poor numbers since coming back from shoulder surgery Igor also had some type of shoulder injruy.
MV had 82 pts in 68 games last and this year 24 pts in 29 games. Igor C in 6 games he has 18 points.
I can't get over what Misa would do to our FWD depth. I feel like it pushes everyone else into better positions.
Now you have Boivert/Moore competing for 3C with one or both maybe sliding into complimentary positions in the top 6.
Plus it'd give us the nuclear option with Bedard-Misa when game situations called for it.
I guess the alternative is getting Schaefer and having a good trade piece for an upgrade at FWD from whoever ends up being the odd man out.
