Lots of overpassing. Misa and Martone look good together. Schaefer looks uncomfortable so far.

No overt standouts in the 1st, but I liked Martone. Big player, good puck protection, makes smart passes.

Murtagh felt like the only American who was able to create anything on his own. I'll keep an eye on him.

I’m a Porter Martone guy, maybe it’s wishful thinking because of how well he’d fit from a need perspective but I get the rose colored glasses every time I watch him and would love to have him on the Hawks.

I could see the Hawks have a lot of interest in Lakovic with Toronto’s pick. He's a menace out there, plays the game the way Davidson likes.

Could try a trade up too, we have picks to spare and as I’ve said, I’m not impressed with the depth of this draft.

Certainly a possibility. They haven’t been shy about using the arsenal of picks to get up the board (Vanacker, tried with Moore and got him anyway).

That’s a big package you’d be looking at to get high enough for Lakovic. Especially since the Toronto pick figures to be a bit later than the ones we’ve gotten from Tampa

I really like Schaefer and Misa. I think Schaefer is the best player in the draft at this point.
