Something is wrong. Usually, 5 years before particular NHL draft, we already have some names, that were thrown into discussion (McDavid, Lafreniere, Shane Whright, Connor Bedard...). But for year 2025 still nothing.
Or is there some wonder-kid?

Absolutely no one from Finland for this draft class has done anything worth mentioning. We'll see if Finland even gets a first rounder.

Pretty sure we will see at least one. We are a talking about 12-13 years old here. Plenty of time to rise or fall.
That's true. But most summers I go through C2 and D1 juniors(13-14yo) and make note of any underagers producing well, and this time there's pretty much no one. The only one I could name is Onni Keltikangas, but he's actually a 2026 draft. So it's the most unimpressive draft year in years unless I'm missing someone(likely a defenseman), at least at this point in time.

I havn't seen him play but Zachary Morin's stats are excellent for his age. Especially playing one year up and even going so far as posting a point per game in AAA as a 12-years old? That's basically unheard of in Quebec (although it's only 5 games)

5'11 148 lbs as a 13 years old as well. His father Nathan used to be a big time enforcer in the Q and at the semi-pro level in Quebec (LNAH).

It's still very early, and nowhere is it said that any of them will be drafted, but you miss Adam Nemec from Slovakia there. From what I've seen in AAA U14 Tournaments in Slovakia, In my opinion he is equally or even more skilled then his brother Simon Nemec.

I agree. I’m a fan of him and Samuel Misak, from what I’ve seen of them both so far.
