Haha maybe it wasn't clear enough but I was being sarcasticIf you pass on douches in hockey, you aren't gonna be picking from a very big pool of players.
No I don’t and neither do you. None of the centers are in the Celebrini category. Contrary to what many here think, there aren’t many centers better than Suzuki in the NHL.
Let’s put it this way, there are a ton of better dmen than Guhle in the NHL but not a ton of better centers than Suzuki. So why are we passing up on a clear cut upgrade at a weaker position and probably the best player in the draft for someone who likely won’t overtake Suzuki but would rather complement him?
Is it guaranteed he'll play center?I would bet on Misa surpassing Suzuki. As a prospect he's been better than Nick at every comparable stage and I don't think it's unreasonable to think that continues in the NHL.
He's a better prospect than Suzuki was, but that alone doesn't mean he will surpass Suzuki. Cody Glass was a better prospect than Suzuki, how did that turn out? Not saying Misa will be Cody Glass 2.0 but there are a lot of factors to consider. Primarily the fact that Misa isn't a slam dunk #1C like Celebrini/Bedard and there aren't that many #1Cs better than Suzuki.I would bet on Misa surpassing Suzuki. As a prospect he's been better than Nick at every comparable stage and I don't think it's unreasonable to think that continues in the NHL.
