Indeed, it would be weird for a guy from St-Hyacinthe to be hating the Habs, but who knows. Reasonable minds can differ (unless they're Broons fans

Frondell is starting to dominate the Allsvenskan league. He has 14 pts in his last 7 games, and had 4 pts today (2g, 2a).
I watched his game today. He's an absolute bulldog. Just a beauty.
He's at 20 pts in 25 gp, which is now the highest ppg for a u18 player in Allsvenskan. He passed William Nylander and David Pastrnak with today's game.
Frondell & Misa are definitely pulling away from the top 7 pack.

Yes, Eklund is on his wing, but Frondell is driving the play on the line, which is Djurgardens 3rd line. I like Eklund, too, but imo, Frondell is separating himself with his two-way play & puck strength.

Thats my top 3 as well, I would draft Frondell 1st OV for the Habs, kid is a beast.

Wich league is better between shl and allsvenskan? Some comparative here?
Cause there si Rasmus Bergvist playing on the SHL. And Frondell in the Allvenskan. I mean. There is a non sense to me right there. One is a 7th round pick. And the other is a futur top 5. Why?

The SHL is one of the best leagues in the world, Allsvenskan is their AHL version.

But how a guy like Filip Erikson may play in the SHL and Frondell can't at their draft year? I mean, it should be the opposite?. Frondell playing in the SHL and Eriksson in the Alvenskan? I just don't get it.
I have the impression it's like. Instead of playing for the Q, you gotta play for the junior AAA. Why?

It's a pro league they care about winning so there are different situations. Some are not ready for the physical aspects of the SHL so they will end up in the J20 or Allsvenskan as teams know they are going to likely lose these players to the NHL so their concern is about winning then developing.

Bob Mckenzie has him 13th in his mid season ranking. Could see him go right around that, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Carbonneau said on a podcast that he was a leafs fan lol.

From what I’m seeing from Frondell, and It’s my take on his play tell me if i’m wrong but he’s not a play driver type center, he’s more of a guy who needs someone with him to carry the puck so he can be in position to shoot the puck, which is his main quality. Him and Eklund are clicking well because Eklund drives the play with his speed and forecheck.

Agreed, but Hughes seems to care more than most GMs about high quality people.
Desnoyers did nothing wrong and I'm sure Hughes would still love to pick him, but I assume someone like Lakovic is a No Draft for us because of his WHL off ice suspension
