If we end up with one of Bear, Spence, O’Brien or Martin, we’re good.

Could you rank these players, starting from your favorite:

- Cameron Schmidt
- Lynden Lakovic
- Carter Bear
- Ivan Ryabkin
- Jake O'Brien
- Kashawn Aitcheson
- Braeden Cootes

Thanks :)
Bear
Lakovic
OBrien
Cootes
Aitcheson
Schmidt
Ryabkin

The 11-18 spots are a great place to pick in terms of value. I love it. Bear, Carbonneau, the likes… best of both worlds this season with the mix and the 2 spots in the area.

UNdersized player in the WHL like Jarvis/Benson. They put around 100 pts during their draft year. Cameron Schmidt need to be close to that if I would put a claim on him.

Cosentino's lastest ranking. The top 20 is pretty much the same as Bobby Mac's, just reshuffled a little.

Let's be realistic, these list are not really how things will go except for perhaps picks 1 to 4, outside that, and further more outside 10, I think ill just go take a shit and toss it at the wall and if I'm lucky ill see a name within the spatter and that will be who the habs will select

Another name that I don't see mentioned is Blake Fiddler. I like his mobility and physicality for a guy his size. He won't be a top pairing but maybe develop into a similar player as Brandon Carlo.
I'm all for taking him with our 1st 2nd rounder. Just don't know if he will still be on board.

I've been keeping an eye on him for a while. Still super raw at this point and he needs a lot of work on some aspects, but he has Protas type potential.

These are the types of guys I think they might target with their 2nd round picks.

Would expect if our picks hold where they are, that they'll target the Mrtka and Spence's of the world. Guys who have defined roles and enough skill to raise the floor of the team.

That would be an injection of size and skating too, which is never a bad thing.

Not sure how you write a capsule on Brady Martin and not mention his physicality.

I mean, I’ve seen Easton Cowan play several times, can’t recall him dishing a hit.

Martin will check n’ hit anybody. I bet scouts love that.

I plan on watching a good bit of his games for Ryabkin, so far I haven't paid too much attention to him as he's been ok but they only play together on the PP as the coach has Ryabkin with Tynan Lawrence ('26) who has impressed me a bit in the 3 games i've seen. They are playing the USNTDP this weekend so I should have vids up within a few days.

Maybe I am underrating this year draft class but it seems that outside the top 4, most top prospects are projected to become middle of the lineup players or bottom 6. I do not say that as bad thing, it just seem like some important players will be drafted but not in the higher end of potential or talent. Is this accurate?
