Can't wait for the video of you playing a full 90 minute soccer game, then giving an interview afterwards about what a sissy sport it is. It is one of the most grueling sports there is. They also play with little to no pads on, making any contact far more painful.
Headers man...headers

Have to interject here, I played soccer for a long time, I was one of the guys who treated it as a contact sport, but the only pain I ever experienced was when people would step on my feet with the spikes. It was a pretty easy going sport outside of the endurance it requires.

I played soccer and hockey both. I got harder contact in hockey, but more contact in soccer. I ran and skated as hard in both sports, the major difference is that in hockey you get to sit down to take your breaks while in soccer you get a small jog while the ball is upfield, but it comes out to mostly the same. I got a lot of bruises playing both, but got injured worse and more often playing soccer, notable since I played half as much soccer as hockey.

Soccer is more like an endurance sport where hockey is a speed sport. Talking down about soccer in favor of hockey is like saying a marathoner sucks at running because you have a sprinter in mind, and the sprinter is bigger and faster so they must be better, while ignoring the skillset difference.

Enough of that crappy sport talk. This is a hockey draft discussion!

Who are some early targets in our current pick range (25-32)? Fiddler? Martin? Mooney?

No surprise from me that Button put Martone #1, just seems like something he'd do. High on the Kitchener players(Reid/Romano) too, like Mckeens/Brock, really curious where Ahokas is coaching next year, he's done wonders for Kitchener and its players' development in such a small time. Mrtka quite low compared to consensus.

as of right now it looks like wer're making the playoffs. (i never thought there was a chance) so now we pick 17-25. maybe we trade the pick or draft a big mean crease clearing D man aka like soucy (never should have let go) done stat we are 0-12-2 against col / wpg / dallas. i can't see how we beat any of them in the playoffs this year.

So if we are picking at #60, there is someone at around 30 that's going to fall, like Heidt, Peart, Ritchie so I'm keeping an eye out for that group of forwards of Kindel, Romano, Zonnon, Ihs-Wozniak or Guite (Guite being the notable faller with his lackluster stats but started on Bob Mckenzie's rankings in September at #17)

I though IHS was an acronym when I first read his name. Struck me as a business merger type of company name: IHS-Wozniak, bringing the very best of business analytics software to your Apple products.

Genuinely curious, what types of players are drafted out of the USHS, specifically MN high schools, and where do they end up? It seems that a significant majority of American born players that become anything go through the USNTDP or USHL, or at least a school like Shattuck.

What are some of the best examples of players being drafted out of normal public high schools in the NHL?
