2025 MLB spring thread news & notes thread

must have to go with the Tetas, I wonder are these snapbacks or fitted? If fitted, will have to make sure we get a nice variety of sizes of the Tetas and the A'sses, to fit every customers wants and needs

The future media rights deals are an intriguing situation. As long as they get rid of the blackouts and have streaming rights available for any team, I pretty much don't care.
 
As an Orioles fan, it's reprehensible that they don't have at least radio coverage of all their spring training games and tv(MASN) coverage for all of their home games. They stopped doing it during the "lean years" and just haven't really picked it back up. I'm hoping that all of the renovations they are doing, after this ST is over, will have some effect on that. But not having broadcasters is such a disconnect for fans.

MASN has always been shitty with ST distribution, even for the Nats

Kevin Brown isn't even in Florida he's doing the ACC tournament lol

I'm really hoping that with the ST site renovations that they will actually pony up and let fans actually experience the game.
 


Lewis has to be cursed. The Twins might be able to do damage if their big three of Buxton, him and Correa weren't all made of glass.

I know these games largely don't matter but its somewhat concerning how bad the Mets offense has been last few games. Until Alvarez comes back (and he's regressed slightly) there will be no production from the catcher position and relying on Winker to be the DH :skeptic:

It's against the Pirates and it's Spring Training...so yeah.

I call them a poverty franchise, a lot of people shit on me for it but prove me wrong. Shatkins and Shitpile spent very little money in Cleveland, come here and everyone said to me "well look what they did in Cleveland" f*** Cleveland! Rogers got more money than God up here and we dont do anything with it. Is 500 mill over how many years a lot for a 1st basemen? Sure but you have to spend to compete with the Boston's Yankees' and other big markets.

Feel free to open up the wallet Atkins otherwise yeah, we will be the Expos A's and Pittsburgh's of baseball and develop guys only to lose them every 5-6 years.

And you can tell that Atkins is being cut out of the situation because Shapiro is the one with his face/words in the headlines now. Wouldn't shock me if Atkins is let go after the season or even before that. It's a major misstep by Atkins and it feels like Rogers/Shapiro know it. Hopefully they actually do something about it and not just toss out word salads everywhere just to make it look like they are "trying". Bad for baseball to see teams like Toronto become problematic.
 
Apparently this will be Bob Carpenter's last year as PbP for the Nats. Works out well as they will be split off from MASN, after the season. He wants to be able to fill-in from time to time. Will be interesting to see how the new broadcaster fits that in.

Just hope they don't promote Kolko who is a good sideline reporter but people don't like his commentary when he filled in
